Services

I provide both telehealth and in-person sessions through my private practice.

Location

My office is located in the ActivSpace building in the Mission District neighborhood.

This location also allows for clients coming in-person for sessions to maintain a level of privacy versus having to come to an outwardly identifiable setting, like an established behavioral or mental health clinic. Seeking mental health care remains unjustly stigmatized societally and systemically, so I hope that my choice of location might help some of you feel more comfortable working with me.

Accessibility

My office is accessible by public transportation, both Muni and Bart. Street parking is available, but can be tricky during morning and early afternoon hours. This is an ADA-compliant building with an elevator and gender neutral bathrooms. If you have more questions about the accessibility of this location, please do not hesitate to contact me.

More details about my telehealth and in-person sessions can be found below:

Telehealth

  • Video calls are conducted via a HIPAA-compliant online platform called doxy.me.
This website can be opened in any web browser on phones, tablets, or computers.
  • Voice calls are an option, but will not be as secure as a video call over doxy.me.
Text and email communications will not be HIPAA-compliant as well. I will do my best to keep your private information secure. But when meeting virtually, it is up to you to consider your personal privacy during telehealth sessions.
  • Attending sessions online may allow for more comfort and familiarity within your own space while having access to personal items, pets, and other care needs during our session that may not be easily replicated in my office. Calling from cozy spots is encouraged!
  • A question worth asking yourself:
Do you have access to a private space to freely and safely speak about what’s important to you?
If you don’t, how can we co-create that together elsewhere?

In-person

  • Sessions are held at my office in the ActivSpace building.
    Address : 3150 18th St.,
    San Francisco, CA 94110
In the Mission, and near 16th St. Bart
  • I hope that my office exists as a safer space to share openly and privately about experiences that you may not be or feel safe to speak about at home or wherever you may take calls from. What’s said in my therapy office stays there.*
*aside from insurance documentation if you are using insurance to pay for therapy – see the section about insurance pros and cons in the FAQ.
  • Attending sessions in-person may allow for a degree of separation from personal spaces and allow for more room to process openly. This especially applies if where you’re based is a component of the stressors you are facing, or if it would be unsafe to speak openly where you are.
  • A question worth asking yourself:
Do you feel safe and comfortable coming in-person to an unfamiliar environment and speaking about your experiences?
If you don’t, would telehealth be an option?

If you or anyone around you has been feeling unwell, showing signs of illness(es), or recently tested positive for Covid-19 or other viral illnesses like the flu, please contact me so we can reschedule our therapy sessions to telehealth. I will communicate the same if I am feeling unwell for the sake of everyone’s safety and wellbeing.
